- Sailgency represents You in Your the contract with charter company. Sailgency is responsible for filling up documents and finishing the process of yacht booking.
- Sailgency stays with You until Your check-out.

So what Sailgency is actually subject to ?
Putting quality first, we care about Your satisfaction and safety. Thanks to cooperation with charter companies and crews worldwide, we are able to provide reliable and verified entity.
Yacht charter companies have 3-4 programmes of payments:
- 50/50 – first payment (downpayment) is 50% of the charter price paid within the booking. The remaining 50% should be paid 30-60 days before embarkation.
- 30/70 – first payment (downpayment) is 30% of the charter price paid withing the booking. The remaining 70% should be paid 30-60 days before embarkation.
- 100% – 100% downpayment applies to Last Minute Deals.
We apply the same programme as chosen yacht charter company.
Don’t worry.
You will be informed about all the policies and guided when it comes to cancellation policies and fees.
We are capable of talking over with charter companies about Your cancellation* if happens. Furthermore, being their partner, we do have more significant impact on their decision making process.
Yacht charter companies apply one of few cancellation policies.
- If cancellation is made before the second tranche paid, the downpayment is due.
- If cancellation is made after the second tranche is paid, the total of charter is due.
An optional equipment
There are few scenarios that charter companies apply regarding payment of an optional equipment:
- to be paid with the second tranche 30-45 days before embarkation
- to be paid at the base upon check-in
Skipper is an option, so similiar procedure applies to skippered charter however the company may apply the policy similiar as it applies with the yacht charter.
Without a doubt, we do recommend purchasing an adequate travel or cancellation insurance to cover Your and/or Your crew against any losses, accidents or cancellations.
Companies such as Pantaenius offer the most adequate insurance products made for sailing.
*In case of charter cancellation, policies of charter company applies.
